Where to stay
Central Business District / Superdome side — best for the game. Downtown hotels around Poydras Street put the Dome, restaurants and much of the city within a practical walk. Check the exact hotel address and route: “CBD” covers a broad area, and the closest blocks to the stadium are very different from the river end.
Warehouse / Arts District — best balance. This area offers restaurants, galleries and the National WWII Museum while keeping a downtown walk or short ride to the Dome. It suits a longer weekend without centering every hour on Bourbon Street. Compare the hotel's actual distance to the stadium.
French Quarter — best for a classic New Orleans visit. Choose it if music, food and historic streets are your main draw. The Quarter is walkable from the Dome for many travelers, but it is farther and can be lively late at night. An edge-of-Quarter or Canal Street base can split the difference; plan the postgame return before you go.
Getting there
Fly into Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). The airport lists taxis, ride apps and public transit for downtown. Check its current pickup points. If you stay downtown, walking to the Dome is often simpler than trying to leave by car with the crowd. For driving, arrange parking in advance and allow for the Saints' garage screening and parking rules. Follow current signs for designated rideshare locations.
