If your hotel is near City Hall or Walnut-Locust, you can board the Broad Street Line southbound without a cross-town transfer. From West Philadelphia on the Market–Frankford Line, the stadium's directions describe changing at 15th Street for the Broad Street Line toward NRG. If you arrive on SEPTA Regional Rail at Suburban Station, follow the concourse or street route to City Hall Station and take the B south. Visitors from South Jersey using PATCO can connect from the 12th/13th & Locust area to SEPTA's southbound Broad Street Line at Walnut-Locust. Check the current PATCO and SEPTA schedules and fare rules before buying tickets. If you are coming from the airport or another suburb, choose a connection into Center City first and check the last train for the return. After a major event, NRG platforms and the walk back to the station can be crowded, so leave time for both.
Driving can work if you need a car, but the Sports Complex handles several venues and parking arrangements can vary by event.
